The JCNSP Bantam C team took second place in the Ross Kittel/Lyle Parin Memorial POW/MIA Tournament in New Richmond, Wisconsin on Jan. 19.

The Polar Devils were also awarded the tournament's Sportsmanship Award.

The Devils got started on the right edge by blanking the host New Richmond team 3-0 behind goalie Billy Bydzovsky. Forward Guy Carpenter score all three goals for the Polars.

Game 2 pitted JCSNSP against a B2 team from Willmar. This time, Bydzovsky presided over a 5-0 shutout, while forward Jacob Ozel recorded the team's second hat trick in as many games.

JCNSP faced a tough team from Waukesha, WI in the Sunday finale. Waukesha had scored 17 times and allowed no goals in its first two tournament games, but the Polar Devils managed to light the lamp twice in a 6-2 loss.
